WELCOME TO THE WISCONSIN VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION

Whether you're coming here by plane, train, boat, car, or bus - it's easy to get to the Veterans Day Celebration. Located in downtown Milwaukee, there are abundant parking options within walking distance of the Parade Route and Veterans Day Festival, while Mitchell International Airport, the Milwaukee Intermodal Station, and Port of Milwaukee are a short drive away.

LOCATION

The Veterans Day Parade begins at the intersection of West Wisconsin Avenue and 5th Street heading east to North Water Street, where it heads north to its end point at the intersection of North Water Street and East Juneau Avenue.

The Veterans Day Festival is at the Peck Pavilion on the grounds of the iconic Marcus Performing Arts Center. Exhibitors and vendors will be located on the Marcus Center grounds just east of Peck Pavilion.

PARKING

MILWAUKEE COUNTY TRANSIT SYSTEM

Milwaukee County Transit System offers routes that have stops within a walking distance of the Parade route and Festival grounds. Buses run throughout downtown Milwaukee. The Ride MCTS app makes it easy for all to get around with route information and real-time bus tracking - you can even buy your ticket directly from your phone!

THE HOP STREETCAR

The Hop streetcar connects some of Milwaukee’s most popular neighborhoods and attractions on its 2-mile route, with stations just one block east of the Parade route and Festival Grounds. Best of all, rides on The Hop are free to all!

BUBLR BIKES

The Bublr Bikes bikeshare system connects downtown Milwaukee neighborhoods and neighboring Wauwatosa, West Allis, and Shorewood with nearly 100 stations currently active, with more added all the time. Just check out a bike from a Bublr station with your credit card and go! Milwaukee is the first city in the nation to introduce adaptive bikes into the system, making bikesharing more accessible to all riders.
