The Wisconsin Veterans Day Parade Presented By Generac brings hundreds of participants through the streets of historic downtown Milwaukee while thousands of spectators celebrate the service and sacrifice of Wisconsin’s military veterans, service members, and their families.

All proceeds from the Wisconsin Veterans Day Parade cover costs associated with the parade planning, promotion, and execution. Remaining proceeds are donated to the Wisconsin Veterans Community Foundation.

PURPOSE

To celebrate the service and sacrifice of Wisconsin’s military veterans, service members, and their families.

THEME

The theme for Veterans Day is “Honor.” Veterans are proud of their military service in defending our Nation. Honor reflects the military value and tradition of answering the call to duty. There is distinct honor in serving to protect our way of life and the Constitution of the United States of America.

PARTICIPANTS

The parade features groups representing veterans of all eras, military units, civic and youth groups (including Junior ROTC), businesses, and more. Floats, military and vintage vehicles and other special elements add to the spectacle and excitement.
