BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In 2020, a group of veterans decided that they wanted to make sure the veterans day parade tradition carried on in Wisconsin. In the back room of O’Donahue’s Irish Pub they gathered to start planning what would be an annual labor of love to make sure our veterans had a chance to be recognized. Given we did not know where to start, our friends at the Shamrock Club were generous enough to show us how to run a parade!

In this annual endeavor we were introduced to many of our local non-profit groups and realized that fundraising can be challenging for smaller groups who were spending their time making a direct impact. Given Dan’s love of event planning and fundraising, we added to our charge that we would work to raise funds that would not only keep our WI parade tradition going forward, but provide additional funds to these groups who need the support. The WIVCF was born and we look forward to what we can do for our fellow veterans!
